Jacqui is passionate about helping couples connect in a strong, real and loving way.
Married to her husband of 10 years, Jacqui knows that relationships can be hard work! One of the core concepts of Imago theory is that conflict is growth and healing trying to happen.
Jacqui believes that experiencing difficulties in relationship is normal, however most couples do not have the tools to communicate and deal with conflict in a way that promotes intimacy. Using a tool called the Imago dialogue Jacqui helps couples achieve this.
Jacqui gained her Masters in Counselling at the University of Manchester, and worked for over 10 years in the UK and NZ in primary mental health. More recently, Jacqui has held a role as Lecturer in Counselling at the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.
